Covid 19 Safety Plan

At Ponfel we acknowledge that these are uncertain times, with lockdown restrictions impacting areas right around our country. COVID-19 is a challenging and ever evolving situation, and we want to make sure our customers are supported with the most up-to-date information, as possible.

The health and safety of our staff and customers are our number one priority. We are working hard on implementing safe processes to support a safe shopping environment.

We ask that you kindly follow government guidelines and in store safety measures when you visit us. These processes are designed to keep our customers and staff safe. By working together, we can help protect our community and slow the spread of COVID-19.

Please see below the special measures to help you shop safely for all your Christmas Decoration needs:

For our staff, we have: 

  • Providing staff with the latest information to keep themselves and our customers safe 
  • Putting emphases on more frequent cleaning and sanitising our store, especially on high-touch areas and high traffic areas 
  • Implementing physical distancing guidelines 
  • Supplying masks and gloves to all staff and making hand sanitisers readily available 
  • Requesting that any staff that are unwell or displaying flu-like symptoms not to attend work 
  • All staff members will be fully vaccinated

For our store, we have: 

  • Reduced customer capacity limits in our store to assist with physical distancing and to help ensure that our customers can enjoy a safe shopping experience 
  • Introduced posters and floor guides around our stores to help customers maintain 1.5m physical distancing
  • We are following government requirements relating to the wearing of masks by all staff members and customers 
  • We now have mandatory NSW Government QR code check ins. When you visit us in store, please look out for the QR codes at the front entrance of the store. This simple process will allow us to promptly notify you of any outbreaks, should they occur. If you do not have a mobile phone, we have a manual sign in sheet that you can fill out 
  • Our store is currently closed for now only operating online (until restrictions ease)

Once NSW Government ease restrictions you can be confident that our operating times will be reflected quickly on our website 

For payment in our store, we have: 

  • Encouraged all customers to limit cash transactions whenever possible and use EFTPOS or credit cards for more contactless payments 
  • Introduced floor markers in our payment areas to stipulate 1.5 meter distancing between customers


For online services, we have: 

  • Click & Collect and Contactless Click & Collect offered 
  • Contactless Delivery (fees apply) 
  • Due to order volume & COVID restrictions, our courier network is experiencing delivery delays across the country. This is resulting in a two to five day delay on orders. These delays are in addition to the expected delivery window indicated to you when you place your order 

You as our customer can help by: 

  • Maintain physical distancing from other customers and staff members 
  • Consider contactless payment, like EFTPOS where possible 
  • Cough or sneeze into your arm or a tissue and dispose of the tissue in a bin 
  • Please stay home if you are unwell or displaying flu-like symptoms 
  • If you prefer, shop online for home delivery (fees apply) or use our, Click & Collect or Contactless Click & Collect service 
  • Wear a mask at all times 
  • Check in with our QR code
